In her book The Unknowable Body, MEAM member Lisa Jean Moore explores the limits of what we can know about bodies — our own and others' — at the intersection of medicine, science, and lived experience. Moore brings feminist sociology and multispecies thinking to bear on the irreducible strangeness of embodied life.
